I have just returned from an amazing 'big birthday' week in Harris, where I stayed in a luxury holiday home (OranNaMara) with friends and family.
In addition to good company and good food, we had superb weather most of the week, with aurora on two nights, sea eagles, and lots and lots of deserted beaches.

I popped up to Callanish to take this shot, using the drone to illuminate the stones from above while trying to capture the stars above. I rather like how it worked out, although it was quite windy and cold that night.
I ended up hiding behind one of the wider stones to stop the tripod from shaking in the wind, whilst I struggled with cold hands to position the drone and the LED light above the stones.
