Ten years I was doing some interesting stuff with video, as the cameras weren't fast enough to take lots of photos per second. Back then, I took some video of the gannets flying around The Bass Rock, near to North Berwick.
I thought I would re-visit the bird shots with a newer camera that is capable of taking 30 photos per second and this is the result.
It is very similar to the original shot using the video method, but much easy to turn into a composite image and it is twice the resolution.
Each of the white lines is the movement of the gannets, over a few seconds.
