I spent a night near Stonehaven, getting some shots at Dunnottar Castle at sunset and then on sunrise.
There were some lovely colours in the clouds behind the castle just before sunset.
I woke up at 05:30 to try and get some nice sunrise shots, but the clouds were on the horizon and none high up, so there wasn't much colour.
I was more interested in the half moon, rising in the South, as there were some astronauts on their way back from the moon.
