I love driving the roads between Ullapool and Durness just to the northeast of Ullapool in the Assynt area.
This was taken near the Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve car park (location shown on the map below). There was a reasonably bright moon lighting up Lochan an Ais and a dusting of snow on the higher mountains.
The main mountains are Meall Dearg, Cul Beag, Stac Polaidh (in the middle), Creag Nan Calman and Cul Mor.
