I was going to go into the Murrayfield area to try and catch the Red Arrows flying over Edinburgh city centre, but gave it a body swerve as the Oasis gig would be keeping it busy around Murrayfield.
I decided to try and get a long shot from over the Forth, from the Aberdour area.
The skies were quite dark over Edinburgh as the nine planes became visible to the West of North Berwick.
